We are looking for Proposal Engineers who has basic Technical knowledge preferably in Dust collectors.
Responsibilities:
1. Estimation (Technical)
➢ Calculate material costs, labor and overhead for dust collection systems.
➢ Reviewing technical drawings to calculate necessary materials and equipment.
2. Mail Drafting:
➢ Sending technical proposals, responding and providing updates to customers
➢ Emailing production or design teams regarding customer requirements
3. Attending Customer Meets:
➢ Discussing application needs such as dust type, airflow requirements and safety regulations.
➢ Demonstrating how the product solves specific problems
➢ Closing deals and discussing commercial terms.
4. Documentation
➢ Technical Documentation: Preparing compliance statements, deviation sheets, and data sheets.
➢ Record Keeping: Maintaining records of customer inquiries, quotes, and project specifications.
➢ ISO Documentation: Adhering to standards for design and development processes.
5. Internal Meets
➢Cross-functional Collaboration: Meeting with design, production, and project teams to ensure feasibility and project timeline adherence.
➢Sales Strategy: Reviewing sales forecasts, budgets, and pipeline status.
6. Vendor Meets
➢Sourcing: Coordinating with suppliers for quotes on components like fans, motors, or specialized filters.
➢Technical Clarifications: Ensuring vendor components meet the project's specifications.
